Payment & Pricing
When we take payment:
In order to reduce the incidence of fraudulent purchases and to ensure we can keep our prices as low as possible on a continuous basis we must take payment for all purchases at time of ordering. We are also committed to offering premium levels of Customer Service and to this end we want you to receive your goods as quickly as possible. You have the opportunity to cancel your order and receive full refund (so long as order has not already been despatched.

Payment Methods:
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch and Maestro. All transactions are processed using a 3rd party processing company for validation and verification of you payment details.

We can also accept payments by cheque and we can arrange in store pickup of your order. To arrange payment by cheque please contact us via the simple form on our Contact Us page, or simply call us on the DR Electric Sales Hotline - 02890 813700.

To pickup your order simply complete your order as normal via this website and select "In Store Pickup" at checkout.

DR Electric are committed to competitive pricing and check our competitors pricing on a regular basis. If you find the exact same product as listed on our website, boxed and in a new condition, in any other retail outlet please contact us directly on 02890 813700, tell us where you saw this offer and we will match or beat the offer.

Errors on this Site:
Nobody's perfect - and sometimes we can make mistakes! If an order is processed for a product listed at an incorrect price we will contact you as soon as possible and explain the error. You will then be requested to confirm the order at the correct price. If you are unhappy with the correct price - you are welcome to a full refund if any payment has been received.


Where we deliver:
We deliver to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and to the mainland UK.

Shipping Charges:
Shipping is based on the weight of your order and your location. Your shipping charges will be made clear at time of checkout and BEFORE you are asked to make payment. We make no profit from shipping and simply charge at cost of shipping price. We hope the attractive prices offered for quality products in this site will outweigh the cost of delivery.

We are confident in beating our competitor's on the high street and we'll deliver your new TV, Dishwasher or Washing Machine direct to your door with a matter of days!

Delivery Timescales:
We aim to deliver all orders within 3-10 days. In some instances we may be in a stock out situation. In this instance orders may take up to 28 days. If the order is delayed any longer than this - one of our customer service team will contact you directly to ensure you are fully up to date with the situation and we may offer a similar product or upgrade to expediate delivery.

Problems With Your Products:

Damaged Goods
Please check your order fully before signing for it from the carrier. All goods are checked thoroughly before despatch from DR Electric. You MUST notify DR Electric immediately (within 4 hours) on receipt of damaged goods  by calling us on 02890 813700.

Please have close to hand the full details or your order, the damage incurred and the serial number of the product as this will assist us to expedite the return of your product. In some cases we may offer you a discount to retain the goods if the damage is minimal e.g. cosmetic scratch on the side of a washing machine.

Faulty Goods
If you feel you have received a faulty product, you should primarily contact your manufacturer who will troubleshoot your problem and advise you of your local engineer / agent who will be responsible for the assessment of your product before return. If you are unsure as to whether your product has a fault - please email us at and we will contact you as soon as possible. Please include your order number, the model and serial number as this will expedite the process.

Wrong Goods
In the unlikely event that we despatch the wrong product please contact us at and we will contact you as soon as possible. Please include your order number, the model and serial number as this will expedite the process.

DR Electric cannot refund shipping costs due to order cancellation, product malfunction or damaged goods. We will cover shipping costs in the event that we despatch the incorrect order.
